ABOUT ME

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping others gain insight, work through struggles, and grow as human beings. I believe authenticity, openness, and collaboration to be essential in creating a strong therapeutic relationship. In order to achieve this, I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming environment.

I developed a passion for helping others at an early age, which led me to pursue  an education in psychology. I achieved a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton and soon after began working in a treatment facility. During my time at CSUF, I worked with adolescents in the public school system, supporting them and their families through difficult situations.

After graduating with my Master’s degree, I worked as a practitioner for many years at an Eating Disorder Treatment Center, where I eventually became a Clinical Director as well as an Executive Director. Additionally, I have worked as a supervisor for both Mental Health and Eating Disorder Treatment Centers. During my work in these Treatment Centers, I developed an aptitude for working with individuals diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, self-worth issues, codependency, and more.
